Communicating for America is working with the Coalition for Affordable Health Coverage to build support for H.R. 2995, the Unnecessary Cap Act of 2013, which would repeal the cap on deductibles for businesses that purchase insurance in small group markets. This bill, which was recently introduced in the House of Representatives, will provide additional flexibility and reduce costs for small businesses.
CA believes that lifting the law’s caps on the maximum deductible for small group plans is a bipartisan, commonsense reform that could reduce extra expense for CA members and millions of small businesses and working families across the country while generating significant taxpayer savings.
